Intro... and I thought for a while what to put here about me. :) What do you wanna know? I am just a simple guy working in an IT Company handling Operations and Project Management. I'm also going through a torturous 16 months "express" double degree course at Kaplan APMI - Murdoch University. In this blog, you will basically find alot of nonsense from me.

I like to complain and yes I complain alot but for things that are not right. If you know me well enough then you will know that I always complain for a reason :D otherwise I am just like any quiet guy next door starring at the laptop screen.

This blog details my daily experiences as well as my training for my runs. I have taken an interest in running since last year and I am working towards completing a Marathon this year... Do feel free to comment or message me I will definitely reply and if you need to email me, feel free to drop your emails to terencetkp@gmail.com!

//its tough being a trainer
Finally! I have finished conducting 6 to 8 training sessions for a customer of mine. Had to do alot of talking and explaining of the system for the whole day since Monday and was practically repeating myself for like duno how many 1000 times. It made me extremely exhausted as I have to wake up at 6 daily to get changed and head on down early to the training location at raffles place and i ended up getting a bad throat from it. Worst of all, AHM is just a few days away and I have been telling myself that I can't afford to fall sick!

On Tuesday, I popped by I-Run, not for a run but just to say hi to everyone since I am around the vicinity. It was fun seeing everyone and I had the urge to just run, but hehe had to be disciplined and rest. :D. However, today I went for I-run with quincy, Justin (ckoksing), zco, froot loops and with Sean Tan and Babe Nyan. Valda was supposed to join me too but she was too tied up with her work so hope to see her again. Today's run was pretty fun but I couldnt join them for coffee / tea as I had promised babe nyan and sean to go for dinner. Nevertheless, dinner was great as we went back to Changi Village to makan :D It was a walk down memory lane la, afterall I always go to that place during my army days so seeing the wanton mee stall and nasilemak was just heaven, and surprisingly, the lady selling the wanton mee still remembers me! gosh! ><

Will be going back to office tomorrow. had planned to stay home to rest but I am worried about the deployment of a project as well as the guys in office (as I have not been back since I went for my exams leave) so yeah tomorrow will be another tiring day for me. I plan to pop by Running lab to check out some socks and stuffs and maybe school to collect textbooks as well for the next trimester. I am now eagerly waiting for the results of the exams as it will determine if I have to take just one unit (IT Project) or two units (IT Project and PM Management). If i pass then I would have to take only IT project to finish the course and that will of course be something to celebrate about for me.

I am ending my entry today with two group photos from the nike training run. (FrootLoops and Sleek as the poster boys!). Thanks Brokie for uploading the pictures. I am really loving my runs now! :D

//Random Thoughts..
I'm feeling pretty moody today. Having the mood swings that I have not been getting for the longest time.

Woke up at 5.10am this morning to bath and get ready to go out to East Coast for the Nike 8km. If you had read my previous post, you would know that I didn't really sleep "early" the night before and so yeah I'm feeling alittle sleepy and tired.

Had one piece of bread with ham and water before going out. Reached the venue on time by 7.15am and saw a couple of the SG Runners people there. Met DreamRunner and he told me to just go ahead and trial their shoes. I thought it was a good idea too so I tried to put on their Nike Pegasus to run. At first they had wanted to give me another model (i can't really remember the name) but they couldn't find the right sizing, so I had trialed the Pegasus one instead. The weight felt a little bit heavier but after all its a control shoe so I shouldn't be complaining too much.

We did the warm ups as usual and I was already started to feel exhausted. Yes, exhausted. I am not sure what is wrong with me, I thought I had enough rest since Thursday as I didn't do any runs but I am still exhausted. It could be probably due to the lack of sleep from Friday's night drinking at Brewerkz and the night before late night sleep. The run started and I started slow with FrootLoops suddenly popping by to say hi. Oh by the way, "NICE HAIR brother!". We chatted a while before he sped off to the front of the pack while quincy and me maintained our 6-6.30min/km pace. We were trying to find a marathon pace la so had to slow down a little. I felt a litte bit of pain at my left knee and I suspect that I had kena the worst nightmare of all runners - ITB injuries. I suspect its from last tuesday strenous I-Run in which I did my personal best with my adizero LT (sighed should have used the adizero tempo). The pain went off after awhile but somehow I was unable to push my self to maintain my pace. I was really feeling very shag towards the 4km U-Turn point and was on the verge of giving up liao and sleek even caught up with us and left and when ahead of us soon after as our "sea breeze and smell flower" pace is really too slow.

I also felt a pain on both my toes from the Nike Shoe that I was trialing but however I tried to continue and push myself hard enough to read the finishing point with a timing of 46 mins. I felt that I could have done better if I had rested more and wore the correct shoes during I-Run. I am starting to regret now and I'm worried that this will affect my "maiden" 21km AHM. I was off to a good start but sigh I should have acted fast enough to prevent getting an injury. Now all I can hope for is that I can have a speedy recovery so that I will be able to run in this coming Sunday. By the way, the Nike Shoes don't really suit me, I had abit of abrasion after that. :(

As I started on this Journey since September last year, I had never looked back nor regretted running. I started to feel tired of what I am doing everyday (studies and work) and running has just helped to give me a new focus in life. It has changed my life and help me become who I am now. I felt a new me in myself and I am beginning to love this new me. But somehow I also feel that its difficult to play catch up with this new me. Alot of mental playing, discipline and determination is required, and at the same time I have to handle whatever emotional barrier (mood swings) that I will be going through.

Things about information technology no longer seems to be of interest to me. I spoke to a few of my friends and class mates and they felt that I have too many things to focus at work, which resulted in me losing the interest and focus. I think I have to agree as I am really getting tired of all the things I have to do at work and study everyday, I don't have something to really focus on, but instead I have become a multi tasker. I like my new role but at the same time, I have to work on my old roles. They just keep stacking on instead of changing. If only I can have the time to manage a group of people, focus on doing what I really have to do then to do all the 1001 adhoc things (like troulbeshooting and managing projects and writing minutes!), then I wouldn't have felt so tired with my job. To be fair, I am sick and tired of school as well and I cant wait to finish the next trimester. Things got on to a good start but as I start to go through each and every single unit that I had to fulfill, it felt like that's not what I really want to do! I maybe good at it but it doesn't really interest me that much now. I can excel in it but I don't feel happy.

All I want now is to get it over and done with and it seems that I am not far from my goals. School has dropped out two subjects from the last trimester and revised on the modules to be taken. According to the requirements, I would need to achieve 72 credits to pass the course and so far I have already achieved 68 (including the two units in the 3rd trimester) with a gross GPA of 3.33/4. And if my maths is right I just have to do one more unit to graduate but sadly both units in the next trimester are CORE units, which means they are required to be completed in order to pass the course, so LL suck thumb I have to take. And it happened that one of the subject that I had to take this trimester is actually an elective (optional) but yet the school didn't really inform us so yeah I suffered for nothing (it was a really tough subject!). Anyway now all I can hope for is better grades for this trimester.

Well you see all I can really do is to complain about it. I just hope that things will turn out better.

Nights. *loner*

//finally its over!
Sigh I cant get to sleep. Was on the bed flipping here and there... then remembered the advice from quincy, so I woke up to do something boring and hope it helps to make me go sleep.

I have a 8km Nike Plus Training Run tomorrow at East Coast Park and I had planned to wake up at around 5am so that I can leave my house by 6am to catch a bus to ECP. But it seems that I am having difficulties going to sleep. :(

Finally the exams are finally over! I am one step closer to completing the double majors! The road towards the double majors has never been smooth, and trust me, there's a new upcoming problem with the school. I guess its like fated that we will have a new problem at the start of every new trimester. I just hope all goes well so that I can graduate in peace.

After my first paper on monday, I had spent the time doing work for a project. I am supposed to conduct user trainings starting from next Monday to Wednesday for a big organisation but sigh It seems that there's alot of problems on their side. They last minute cant firm up on their data migration and were unwilling to release the data for migration. Sometimes, its hard to work with big organisations because they will always try to be "right" and who gets the blame? The vendor of course! but looking at the timeline, we were only a few days away from the training and yet we have not done the migration not because we didn't prepare for it, but they were unwilling to do it. Luckily it all got sorted out on Friday and my poor colleague aka best friend has to stay in office till the wee hours to clean up their data while I took my last paper.

On tuesday, I went for I-Run despite strong winds and heavy rain in Tampines. I was hesitated at first but I would like to try Cokiee's 5BX as well so rain or shine, I tell myself that I have to attend (unless I am sick of course!). The turnout wasn't that huge on tuesday (probably due to the dark clouds in the CBD area) but the run was a good run. I had achieved a new PB for my 7km I-Run in 32mins. It was great to be talking to david and listening to his advice on the shoes that I am wearing. I was supposed to retire my adizero lt remember? but I wore it that day as I was worried of dirtying my new one.. but sigh I shouldnt have thought of it that way.. what is more important than taking good care of my pair of legs? *slaps myself*

I had the accompany of sacha during the run and he had helped to make me maintain my pace (or rather not slow down) as he was following closely behind me. I felt the stress to keep up but I had managed to keep up nonetheless. Towards the ending, ayin had paced me as well and told me to concentrate and focus as I gave my best towards the finishing line. It was a great run but yeah i suffered a little bit of knee pain (probably due to the hard flooring and the shoe :().

I hop over to meet the CBD runners as well to make payment for the running tee. It was my first time meeting the group and was nice to be able to meet up with people like tao, tiwazzz, stuck, tekko, laserrunner. I spent awhile chatting with some of them before I make my way home. Wednesday was a stay home day and thursday was a i-run day.

For thursday's run, quincy aka terence (also) came and we met slightly earlier to go for a 3km run ourselves before we do another 7km run with the rest. We were trying to find our marathon pace, so we had slowed down our pace and tried to keep to a comfortable pace of 6 to 6.30min/km. The weather was pretty hot and yeah we were sweating like pigs :P. Met alot of other runners like zco and auron and we had the chance to speak to halftimer as well as he shared his experience with us. we also went for coffee with the fat bird team after the run and had a good chat at the coffee shop. It was a fun day alright and right after the run, I made my way to bugis in my running attire to meet my primary school friends.

It has been ages since I last met them.. like after PSLE or sort? We didn't really meet up. Ok I didn't take the effort as well but yeah Its great seeing everyone again. Everyone looked practically the same though, no changes except to their lives. Like some already married, some working, some studying and etc etc. It was pretty surprising that Mr steven, our primary six teacher came along as well. It was good to see him as we chatted.

*I'm not in the picture because... I was running at I-Run :P. Yanyin, Zhangfeng, Kaiwen, Guoming, Yihao, Jiaxin, Alex's GF, Alex, Mr Steven (From Left to Right)

*Me with Jiaxin and Guoming before I left.

Friday was a tough day as I struggle to study for a Unit that I don't really have to take alright.. but its a screw up from somewhere :(. The paper is damn tough and the tips given from the lecturer was a complete waste of time! All the 5 essay questions were pretty tough and I had a hard time doing it. By 9pm, I was out of the examinations hall as I told myself to give up. Its pointless sitting there where there's no output coming out from my brain. Whatever grades I am gonna get right now, I guess I shall let fate decide.

I didn't go home straight but waited for my classmates as we had plans to go brewerkz for a drink. Its like something we will do every trimester now to relax. Mark, huiming, lian ping, foong, ivan and me met up for two tower of brewerkz beer. We drank till 1am plus and after which, mark, huiming and me went to clarke quay for a walk. Yes a WALK, we didn't chiong lah. Old bones already so can't dance at the dance floor anymore. I waited for 2N after that as I make my way home to sleep!

On Saturday, I had practically spent the whole day watching mobtv as well as movies. Watched the movie 21, some of the 100m mens and womens olympic heats and 6 episodes of the comedy sayang sayang. The plot is pretty funny and actually reminds me of goong... :)

That's all for today. I will continue tomorrow before I start work again. :(

//Long Post Part 2!
Another Long Post... Continuation of the previous post!

I just finished my first examinations paper - ICT 306 Software Architecture. It was quite alright considering the fact that the examination questions didn't change much since 2005. :D and to be franked, I only started revising like Friday or Saturday because I was practically clearing my work before I go on leave... but it seems that work's never ending.. :(

Anyway back to what happened on last Tuesday. I met Sean for a run at I-Run and did a 5km with him. Afterwhich, we went to Katong to eat Katong Laksa. It was sinful alright and I have not touched Laksa for close to 2 to 3 years but I thought that its ok to sin for that day with him... but yeah after I got home.. I felt really bad about it and so I went out for another 10km run and so in total I did 15km that day! I started the run at a slower pace as I am trying to find a comfortable pace to complete my marathon. I did a slightly different route today by running on the opposite direction towards TPJC and Dunman Secondary School. I then continued running to East View Secondary school before reaching Tampines Polyclinic and thats where I continued with the normal route that I used to take. Upon reaching the junction at Safra Tampines, I continue running towards the express way towards Simei and CGH and did a loop around Simei before coming back to Tampines. The total distance covered was around 10.5km and the map for the route can be found below.

The following Wednesday was a rest day for me and I stayed home as well to prepare for my exams but I spent the day working on some pages for my Administrative Officer to perform her data entry duties. In the evening, I had an appointment at Adidas The Cathay to have my customised Mi:Adidas shoe made. I was supposed to purchase my adizero tempo that day as well but the blur me had forgotten to bring out my DBS Rewards voucher and thus couldnt make the purchase that day.

I had reached adidas on time as schedule and was told to fill in a form with my particulars. I was then told to step into this fit measurement machine where it measures the sizes of my feet. Benjamin (Hope I got his name correctly), the person in charge of the customisation team them took me through a process of choosing the colors for my shoe. God! I didn't know there are so many parts of the shoe that can be customised and I was having a bad headache choosing the colors for my shoe! I wasn't prepared at all but luckily Benjamin gave me some ideas as to the types of colors I should choose to make sure they blend well. As it is a customised shoe, I had decided to use bright colors instead of dull ones, else I could have just bought a normal adidas shoe. The type of shoe that I had choosen was the Adidas Supernova Sequence. It will be used for my training runs. Finally I had choosen the colors that I think I want and confirmed the order. I do have a picture of how the shoe will look like but its pretty blurry so I think I will upload it once I gotten my shoe in 3 to 4 weeks time.

On the following day, I made my way to the Adidas boutique at Tampines Mall to make my purchase for the adizero tempo! Finally a new pair of shoe for my runs! I have been running on my existing adidas LT for quite some time since Jan to Feb this year and I was told that I shouldn't be running in that as it would most probably break my legs! I took their advice seriously and gotten the adizero tempo that I will use for my races while my supernova will be used for my training runs. However I do think there will be a need to get another pair for alternate trainings, but that will be when I increase and intensify my training runs :P

Here's some pictures of my new adizero tempo as well as my old adizero LT. Thank you my dear LT for servicing me for so long. Its time you retired where you will be converted into a normal outing shoe. :D

My Old Adizero LT

On Friday, I went to office for a while before heading to ashley's to have my hair cut. I then made my way home but stopped along Tanah Merah to go to Singapore Expo to see if I can grab some nice books at the Border's Book Fair. At first I couldnt find much as most of the books don't really suit me but soon i spotted a book that I had previously enquired Borders about and they actually told me that have no stock and here it is stacking on the table at the book fair! Ultra Marathon Man - Confessions of an All night runner man by Dean Karnazes.

Actually I'm supposed to have completed the last few chapters of The Last Lecture but Albert introducted me to the Ultra Marathon Man book and told me that I have to beg, steal, borrow to get my hands on it and its so fated that I actually found it during the book fair at an amazing price as well! I also bought other books by James Patterson but those were mainly fictional books. Satisfied with the trip, I made my way home and getting myself ready for the Beijing Olympics. I was wow by the opening ceremony and was amazed by the efforts put in by Beijing. They have definitely raise the standard of Olympics and I wonder how will the next one try to be on par when I am totally WOW by the stunning effects and choreography! Bows!

On Saturday I spent my timing revising for Software Architecture la. Actually not really revising but more on spotting questions (but every year the same set of questions will come out and so its more about memorising the answers to those questions, if only every lecturer is like that.. :P). In the evening, I watched a little bit of NDP 2008 before I decided to go out for a run. This time I had planned to make my way to Changi Beach and SAF Ferry Terminal. I started slow at a comfortable pace of around 6.30min / km. As the rain had just stopped not too long ago, the weather was actually very nice and cooling and I had brought along a water bottle with me. The route seems fine except for the stretch along hendon camp (commando camp). Its pretty damn and quiet and you can hear the dogs barking from the camp. Its damn creepy lor and you seldom see anyone at the bus stop. The road at Changi Village wasnt very nice to run as well as there are some road works going on so you have to navigate your way here and there before turning towards Nicoll Drive. I finally reached SAF Ferry Terminal and that was almost already 8km from my place. I looked at my watch and was pretty happy with the pace. The timing is slow but what I had wanted to achieve here is a comfortable marathon pace. I didn't want to go at a very fast pace and then ended up with injuries and stress fractures. The runs at I-Runs has trained me to be fast but at the same time, I didn't want to adopt the same pace for a 21k or marathon.

I U-turned at the bustop outside SAF Ferry Terminal and made my way back, passing by many families have BBQs and etc and then back towards Loyang and Tampines. The total distance covered was closed to 16.5km at a timing of 1hr 43mins. That works out to about 6mins18secs per km and I am very happy with that timing. I wasn't really tired and I thought that I can still push for another 5km to reach 21km but I didn't want to strain my legs la so I stopped and got myself dinner and a drink. Here's the route for the run.

As for Sunday and Monday, I had spent the time memorising lah. What else. and sigh there's something else that I actually wanna blog about but I shall leave it to the next one. The post is getting too long :P.

Good Nite!

To be continued...

//Long Post ahead! Watch out!
Warning! The following post will be extremely long so watch out!

It has been a long long time since I last blogged eh? So many things have happened for the past few weeks and I am gonna take my time to slowly blog about it before I start mugging for my examinations next week.

I was practically very busy since the week my mum went for her gum treatment. I cant even recall what movie I had last watch... *thinking*.. *thinking*.. oh HANCOCK! Yeah that was the last movie I had watched and come to think about it, I have missed quite a few good ones like Hell Boy, The Dark Knight and etc but sigh I really don't have much of a time to watch movies these day. :(

On 19th July, I went to HSBC tree top walk with my colleagues and friends. I was supposed to attend the first nike plus training run but I had to give it a miss as I had already promised my friends that I will be going for the hike. It was pretty interesting. We had Bak Kut Teh early in the morning at Sin Ming Road. I heard that its pretty famous but too bad I am not a Bak Kut Teh lover. I had brought along my Garmin ForeRunner 305 that day but it had failed me terribly. No matter how I turn it on, it will just auto shut down by itself. I tried for many times till I finally gave up and just continue with the hike without my garmin to track the distance that we had covered.

We didn't really take the longest route but somehow the shorter one as there were a few ladies in the group who were doing their first hiking session and we don't really want to scare them away haha. I was pretty energetic the whole day running up and down and trying to see if I can spot something unique but yeah it didn't happen la. The only encounters we had was only with a few monkeys as well as a few monitor lizards tryin to cross the road. Before 12pm we were already done with the hike. We washed up, had some ice-cream before I made my way to school for a 2pm lesson and afterwhich I went to Scape to collect the race pack for Mizuno Wave Run 2008.

On 27th July, one week after my HSBC tree top walk, I went for the Mizuno Wave Run at Temasek Polytechnic. I woke up around 6am and reached the place a few minutes before the start time. I had to even take a cab down from my place and to think that I am only staying a few streets away (ok shame on me). :( The run was pretty ok! It initially started out like a fun walk because everyone was practically walking and I was packed in the middle of all the runners, so I had difficulties trying to squeeze my way through. Eventually I made it to the east gate and saw Half-Timer there and said hello to him. While running, I saw brokenrunner in front and had wanted to go up and say hi as well but she was zip zapping here and there and then I lost her lol. I then continued the race myself and was going on at a pretty steady pace but eventually saw people one by one zapping past by me. I skipped the first water point and thought that there might be a few more ahead but I couldn't really see any. Eventually I managed to get myself a bottle of water and I had a few sips before dumping it away and increasing my pace a little towards the finishing line. I completed the race at a timing of 56mins. However the time on my watch was around 54mins. It was a good run alright and I will definitely be back next year!

I met niwaz at the finishing line as well as broken runner. Said hi to them and went to collect my race pack before walking back to the running tracks to see if I can spot any sgrunners. Eventually we were slowly gathering as I said hi to chacha, ckoksing, Paul, Ripley, zco, DreamRunner, TLR, sleek0000, happie, FrootLoops, aerorunner and a few more others. I was dumb enough to say hi to Stardust and asked if he is eugene. I am dumb alright but I tot he's eugene (another forumer) xD. We then gathered to have a group photo taken.. alright there were quite alot of cameras going around so we took quite ALOT of pictures. I didn't get to see kc that day though but yeah he told me he was there.

*Photo courtesy of tekko :)

After staying around for chit chatting, I went for breakfast nearby with aero, froot and ckoksing. We had prata and chatted on alot of things ranging from marathons to shoes and hobbies. It was around 11 plus before I made my way home to bath and to go to school.

On the following Monday, something bad happened to me la and I almost met up with God and etc to have tea but I was really lucky to have escaped! Anyway, to cheer myself up, I went to Sim Lim Tower to buy the Garmin ForeRunner 405. After getting some reviews from quincy, my new buddy from SgRunners, I was addicted to it. By the way, if you are thinking what happened to my Garmin ForeRunner 305, it's on its way back to Amazon.com as we speak. :) I emailed Amazon about the problem and they said that I can send it back for a replacement or refund. God I was glad! I tried emailing the local Garmin distributors and they told me they would charge me $120 as an administrative fee for processing the repair! That's almost like paying abit more to get the 405! And so I decided to proceed with the refund with Amazon and to get myself the 405. Yes I am loving it alright, its really cool and I think it is a must buy for all Garmin lovers out there! The bezel is sensitive enough to response to your touch, you just have to lightly tap on it with two fingers and the light comes on. Tap on it again and the light goes off. Same for other functions and yeah if you're worriedthat it will be too sensitive, you can even adjust the sensitivity of the bezel! Its that cool! :) Unlike the 305, it comes with a USB stick so that the transfer of data between the watch and the PC can be done wirelessly. Its effortless, you just have to plug it to your laptop or pc and it will automatically sync the data back. One bad thing for now though and thats the support with mapmyrun. I have yet to find a way to sync the information to mapmyrun to track my trainings. :(

On tuesdays and thursdays as usual, I went down for I-Run but Thursday was alittle bit more special because I met up with Mr Nick Chia. I had still remember how I used to have problems with him in camp back in our good old army days with him as the 2IC and me as the Company Clerk :P (but its all just fun!:D) but now we're like talking so much about running almost everyday. He's a freak, he has already done 3 maratons and is ever so hunky but girls, he's already attached so too bad for that :). He came on Thursday to do an I-Run with me after much of harassment and persuasion from me and he actually find it fun! I-Run is indeed fun la with all the encouragement and motivation from the I-Run pacers. I will definitely make sure I attend every week! We went for dinner at City Link and yeah the food was pretty good. We had pasta and pizza and talked about training for the upcoming stand chart marathon. We also talked about work and stuffs lah but those are rather boring to me now.

As for the other days in that week, I was practically trying to complete the Java Assignment on time! (ok it was off time because I had missed the submission date). I was doing it till I dozed off on the sofa several times with the lights in the room still on till the next morning. It was that tired for me for that whole week but luckily I managed to complete it (a half past six job) by Thursday and submitted it online through the slow and laggy web ct. I thought that maybe 3/4 of my class mates has already handed it in but I was wrong when I found out that I am like the SECOND person to hand in the assignment! Bloody Assignment really made me hate java and programming!

On Saturday, I attended my first stand chart running clinic. I met Paul and Ripley and we spoke abit before I said good bye to them. It was quite a good session as I learn about the various injuries and medical conditions that I should watch out for, the various planning for my marathon training and the importance of getting a good shoe. I saw a familiar face during the talk and I had waited towards the end of the talk then I approached her and called her name. She turned round trying to find out who was calling her and apparently, she couldnt remember me. :(. It was an old class mate back in the days when I went for the first three months of Junior College. I still remember her as the group of cute and fun convent girls but sigh she has already forgotten about me! But haha its alright, we caught up with each other during the running clinic and I found out that she's organizing the Stand Chart Marathon! Cool! I then stayed to talk to her till I am like the last few ones to do a foot scan. I had already previously done a foot scan once at adidas - The Cathay but I thought it would be better to do it again just to confirm on the results. Yeah my right leg is over-pronator while my left leg is neutral and so I'm recommended a control shoe such as supernova sequence. I went to borders @ marine parade after the running clinic to walk around, I also went to TopMan to buy a few tops for myself before heading home with lots of junk food for myself and my mum. (sinful!)

The following day was the nike plus running clinic and this time round I made an effort to wake up early to attend it. It was fun as I met DO, DreamRunner, brokenrunner, cfred, quincy, ckoksing, sleek and many more. I was running with quincy and we were trying to pace a girl from the MR25 running club. She's fast man and her pace was very consistent! Of course, the two of us eventually lost her but it was a good morning run. We both ended up in 20th and 21st places respectively. We mingled awhile with the rest before planning to go for breakfast but then there's still the lucky draw so we waited for a while. To my surprise, I actually won a prize in the lucky draw! A Nike Audio Waist Belt! :) Something that i will need for my marathon haha. After the whole thing ended, we walked over to Parkway Parade for a morning Ya Kun toast. Chatted till around 10.30 before quincy left to go home as he had to rush to board a flight. I took a bus back with justin aka ckoksing and we went to TM to accompany him to find a hydration bag. I reached home at around 12 plus before I wash up to go to school. I bought a book from borders that day titled The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. Its something that I had always wanted to read but couldnt find the time to source for the book. Finally I had gotten my hands on it. I then walked to The Cathay planning to have my customised Mi:Adidas shoe made but was told to make an appointment so I went home empty handed. :P

And as for the Mi:Adidas session as well as last tuesday I-Run with Sean, I shall keep it to the next post. I am tired now and wanna spend abit of time to read through some slides before going to sleep! xD
