Intro... and I thought for a while what to put here about me. :) What do you wanna know? I am just a simple guy working in an IT Company handling Operations and Project Management. I'm also going through a torturous 16 months "express" double degree course at Kaplan APMI - Murdoch University. In this blog, you will basically find alot of nonsense from me. I like to complain and yes I complain alot but for things that are not right. If you know me well enough then you will know that I always complain for a reason :D otherwise I am just like any quiet guy next door starring at the laptop screen. This blog details my daily experiences as well as my training for my runs. I have taken an interest in running since last year and I am working towards completing a Marathon this year... The school has done it again. They did not give us the schedule as requested. What was given was a list of dates without the class timing and location of the class. After my groupie and I wrote in to request for it.. (and with another follow up one), we were given the schedule for this week and next. However our program manager had given us the wrong timing for Sunday's class and thank god she realised it in time or else we will all be going to school at the wrong timing. The standard I believe is that they will usually give us the list of scheule with the location, time, date, unit for every month but I'm not sure why she only gave us the schedule till the 18th. Must I write in again to chase for the rest of the month's schedule? Sigh... I have been busy with work and going out to eat with Yanlin and Jason. Yanlin came back to SG from US already for a 3 month summer holiday and I have been eating and eating... and have not been doing my runs... and so today I told myself that I have to go running else my stamina gonna drop very badly when I start to run next week. Some of the food (sinful) ones that I have been taking for the past one week includes dim sum at night at Xin Wang, Steamboat at Bugis, Coffee, Chocolate Cakes and etc :P Friday was an OT day and on Saturday.. I took the oppoturnity to rest by playing my PSP... loaded with games from Jason. HAHA. Got so addicted to it that I played the whole day and ended up not doing what I had planned to do over the weekend (which partly explains why I am only blogging today and not yesterday :P). I will talk about the games on another post ba.. As for today, there's a class in the morning and yeah I woke up late like 9.20 and took a cab down to school (from tampines to centrepoint) and to realise that I was the first to reach... The lecturer (Malar) came in around 10.05 and tried to download her powerpoint slides from Murdoch.. but I guess that was a very bad move on her side. If she had taught in the school before, she should know that its advisable to get her slides and prepare her stuffs before coming to school.. else if the internet connection is down then it will be hard for her to get the required resources for the class... and that was what exactly happened. There were no slides today.. she briefly went through the outline of the unit (requirements like assignments and etc) based on the printed unit guide.. then she tried to ask us some fundamentals of programming like what are the types of data type... blah blah and she was flipping the book to see what she can teach / go through. The class ended 1 hour earlier because there was nothing else to do. I do hope the next lesson will be better. She seems ok la.. just abit not prepared.. maybe because there's nothing to teach for the first class.. After class we went SLS lo.. Me, JK, HM and LP went there to walk around and I started feeling tired and sleeping (haha cos maybe hardware stuffs not my genre) then we went to eat vegetarian lo.. cos hor.. HM said during the examinations that if he can pass ICT310 Operating Systems... he will eat vegetarian for 3 months! and it came true! Oh did I mentioned about the examination results? Results were out when Mark told me.. not bad but I'm quite disappointed with ICT326. Didn't do as well as I had wanted to but for ICT310 and ICT218.. yeah the results were kinda expected... so I did a count.. currently I have 3HD, 2D and 1C (Credit). Not bad le ba.. but I will continue to work hard! Oh back to our SLS trip.. yeah after eating vegetarian.. we parted our ways and went back home lor. JK said he was having abit of sore throat and I felt the same when I reached home... (ok la I didn't went home directly.. I went to east point to buy some stuffs for office with my cousin) and I slept immediately when I reached home as I was having a super bad headache... Anyway.. that's all for the activites update for the past one week. Tomorrow is back to work day again.
