 |
Yup.. Tomorrow it's back to work day... I hope I have already charged up enough energy to face all the stuffs that are waiting for me back in office. Tomorrow is also the start of a new school term, but I have yet to have any materials with me to bring along for classes as (ahem... ) yeah..
Recently the rashes that I have been getting last year and the year before is back to haunt me. I have been getting hives during the months of April to June and I'm pretty sure its because of the hot weather that is causing it. Other than that, I won't have it in other months.
Hives (Urticaria & Angioedema) is a very irritating thing and its taking over control of my life during April to June. It will come and go without any warning.. sometimes it lasts for an hour.. sometimes a day.. and I will usually take zyrtec to get rid of them (actually not really getting rid of it but more of to stop the itch). The red swellings and spot will still be visible till it automatically disappears by itself. Hives is something that has no known cause.. so it can be anything or nothing that causes it.. but for me I noticed that its occuring during the period of April to June and usually its when the weather is extremely hot so I assume my body is not able to take the heat ba.. I have seen my doctors several times before and usually get the same kinda answer that I can find by googling about it.. haha. The only serious one that happened was when I had a full body outbreak of hives.. which covered the whole area of my chest, legs and hands and I was feeling breathless (and that is one serious case of hives when you starts to get breathless). I went to a 24 hours clinic for treatment and was prescribed with steriods. The doctor then wanted to give me a jab for immediate effect BUT i refused because.. its the first time I am seeing him and he just don't look professional enough.. considering the fact that he was watching DVD prior to seeing me.. I took the steroids plus zyrtec that he had prescribed to me.. and ended up having gastric pain the next day.. :(
Anyway below is a picture of how it looks like one of my hands... and I'm actually having it now while blogging about it.

I hope this will go off soon.. its affecting my life because people look at me as though I am some skin disease sufferer.. and it can get bery back when its red and big and swelling... Its also affecting my life because the itch makes me wanna scratch and I ended up having scratch marks on my body.. and I'm unable to concentrate at work / study when its really very itchy... so HIVES please go away soon.. COOL weather please come soon. |
